LA CASA VILLAGE I & II MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT – Part-time – 20 hrs./wk.
BASIC FUNCTIONS: Cleaning of Meal Site area and La Casa Village I & II common areas.
REPORTS TO: Senior Housing Specialist
FSLA: Non-Exempt
RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- To be able to lift over 75 lb.s
- To be able to be outside for extended periods of time for lawn care, ice control and snow removal
- To be able to follow rules and regulations
Basic Functions:
Cleaning of the common areas of the buildings, Meal Site area and vacant units; assisting in the physical maintenance & repairs at La Casa Village I & II.
Duties shall include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning of the common area bathrooms and replacing paper products when needed.
- Cleaning Laundry room machines and mopping of laundry room floors.
- Emptying of garbage cans in laundry rooms, community rooms, basement and 1st floor bathrooms & Meal Site area.
- Vacuuming all common areas and offices.
- Assist in lawn care when needed.
- Assist in vacant unit prep & cleaning when needed.
- Assist Resident Maintenance Manager with repairs when needed.
Special assignments as necessary!!
Confidentiality: to keep all information about tenants (housekeeping habits, tenant relations, health concerns, etc.) confidential and follow HIPPA Rules when applicable.
To promote goodwill: between tenants, staff, Meal Site attendees, volunteers, and others who come into La Casa Village.
