Job Title: Bilingual Human Resources Generalist
FLSA: Exempt
Summary: The Bilingual Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Primary Functions:
- Act as an advisor to leaders, managers and supervisors on issues related to employee discipline and employment for the purpose of ensuring consistent application of policy.
- Work with organization’s leadership and managers to establish proper systems for employee’s promotions, position’s changes, etc.
- Conduct the onboarding and offboarding processes
- Confer with management in employee retention initiatives and support leadership and managers with effective retention strategies
- Work with organization’s leadership to ensure timely and comprehensive performance evaluations of all employees
- Maintain personnel files (current and former employees)
- OSHA, EEO-1, and VETS-100 ongoing reporting
- Administer human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
- Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization’s HRIS or talent management system.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policies, practices, and resources to leadership.
- Assist with administering employee benefit plans. Collect benefit enrollment documents and enter into HRIS.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Minimum Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish (Strongly Preferred)
- Ability to meet changing job conditions
- Knowledge of selection, training, recruiting, and supervision of personnel
- Knowledge of wage and salary, and performance appraisal administration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, business, public administration.
- Three to Five years of progressive Human Resources experience
