Children, Family & Youth Programs

children-youth-program

La Casa’s Children, Family & Youth Programs provide an umbrella of services designed to strengthen academic, social and workforce skills of children and youth from low-income families. These programs range from infant and preschool early childhood education to before- and after-school and summer programs for children, as well as career guidance.

La Escuelita Child Development Center “The Little School”  La Casa de Esperanza provides high-quality Early Child Care and Educational services to the Waukesha community. At La Escuelita, we understand that each child is an individual with abilities to be strengthened and needs to be met for overall development. Children are welcome regardless of race, ethnic background, economic status or language spoken. In fact, diversity is embraced as a unique aspect of who we are and the special melody we create together in the world. At La Escuelita, we believe in creating an environment where every child has the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills, reasoning ability, creativity and independence needed for positive personal growth and success in the education system. La Escuelita’s experienced and qualified staff provides programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. We are proud to offer a variety of programs to meet the community’s needs including:

• First and second-shift child care (Monday – Friday from 6:00 a.m. until midnight)

• Before and after school care, including transportation to-and-from school

• Art, music and computer instruction

• Lesson plans and learning activities in both Spanish and English

• Nutritious meals and snacks
