Yuliana Torres serves as the VITA Site Coordinator at La Casa de Esperanza’s Center for Financial Stability, where she leads the free tax preparation assistance program for families and low-to-moderate income residents across Wisconsin. In this role, she recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers; manages site operations during the filing season; prepares and reviews tax returns in compliance with IRS regulations; and develops processes and reports that enhance program efficiency.
Prior to this position, she worked for four years at La Casa Charter School, where she strengthened her skills in service, organization, and community engagement. She is a Certified Advanced Tax Preparer and fully bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows her to effectively serve a diverse community.
Yuliana holds both an Associate’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management. Her academic excellence earned her membership in the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and children, who are her greatest motivation. Her professional journey reflects dedication, empathy, and a strong commitment to strengthening the financial well-being and stability of her community.
