Vanessa Arenas is an Employment Specialist at La Casa de Esperanza, where she has served for more than 11 years. In 2024, she earned her Professional Certification in Workforce Development – Endorsement: Business Services. She is also a graduate of the Latino Nonprofit Leadership Program at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and Cardinal Stritch University, and holds a degree in Pedagogy from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Vanessa supports job seekers by assisting them in creating or updating their résumés, preparing for interviews, and finding or retaining employment. She also partners with local businesses to identify qualified candidates who meet their hiring needs, connecting job seekers with opportunities that align with their skills and goals.
In her free time, she enjoys running and biking, as well as watching movies and TV series with popcorn or pizza.
