Stelpflug

Physical Education

Ms. Betsy Stellpflug has been part of La Casa de Esperanza Charter School since 2024 and serves as the Physical Education teacher for grades K5–8. She was inspired to become a teacher by the positive influence of educators in her own life who fostered curiosity and created supportive learning environments. Ms. Stellpflug holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh in Physical Education, Adaptive PE, and Health Education.

She loves teaching because it gives her the opportunity to guide students on their journey of growth—both physically and personally. Teaching at La Casa is especially meaningful to her because of the school’s strong sense of community and collaboration among staff, students, and families. She values the nurturing environment that helps students thrive.

Outside of school, Ms. Stellpflug enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking, geocaching, and playing sports like ultimate frisbee and tennis. She treasures time spent in nature and with friends and family.
