Schmidt

Kristin Schmidt joined La Casa de Esperanza Charter School in 2024 and brings nine years of teaching experience to the 3rd grade classroom. She was inspired to become a teacher by the care and compassion shown to her by her own elementary school teachers, who supported her through personal challenges and made a lasting impact on her life.

Kristin loves teaching because she finds joy in being at school and in the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of her students. She is passionate about creating a supportive, welcoming classroom where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered to grow. She especially enjoys being part of the La Casa community because of the amazing students and the strong, collaborative team of educators.

Outside of school, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and boyfriend. She loves listening to music, creating classroom materials, exploring her passion for photography, and shopping when she can. Her energy, creativity, and dedication make her a valued member of the La Casa team.
