Director of Dual Language Service

Elvia joined La Casa de Esperanza Charter School in November 2023 as the Director of Dual Language Services. In this role, she supports teachers in curriculum development, instructional improvement, and academic interventions to ensure students receive a high-quality bilingual education. She also oversees the implementation and integrity of the Dual Language Program to meet the needs of La Casa’s diverse learners.

She spent 13 years teaching in Dual Language elementary classrooms and 5 years in middle school before transitioning into leadership roles, including Instructional Methods Coordinator/Coach and Bilingual Assistant Principal at Fratt Elementary School. These varied experiences have strengthened her ability to collaborate, communicate, and problem-solve in partnership with educators, families, and students.
