At La Casa de Esperanza, our Career Empowerment Program is led by a Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP), ensuring expert career guidance and support. Through our Center for Financial Stability, we combine workforce development with financial counseling to help individuals:

  • Understand their living wage needs
  • Overcome transportation barriers
  • Connect to meaningful job opportunities

In addition to one-on-one coaching, we host a monthly “Jobs for Everyone” webinar, offering valuable resources, networking opportunities, and employment strategies to support long-term career success.

Job Seekers

Whether you are looking for employment or seeking to increase your employability, La Casa de Esperanza offers a variety of services:

  • Skills assessment

  • Career counseling and occupational training

  • Connections with partner organizations that provide OSHA10 and Forklift training for eligible candidates

  • Referrals to GED and OSHA programs

  • Assistance with enrollment in English as a Second Language (ESL) courses

  • GED/ABE courses, associate degree programs, and/or technical diplomas or certificates; financial aid enrollment assistance and scholarship search

  • Resume preparation

  • Interviewing skills development

  • Career planning

La Casa’s Employment Program works to cultivate long-term relationships with many employers by assisting them in recruiting, screening, and post-hire skills training.
