Jen Blahnik joined La Casa de Esperanza Charter School in 2025 as a Teaching Assistant, bringing over 14 years of teaching experience spanning 4K–8th grade, high school, and college-level instruction. She holds degrees in Spanish and History from Indiana University and completed a master’s program in Spanish at UW–Madison. Her two years living in Spain further strengthened her language skills and cultural understanding.
Jen is passionate about education and values the deep connections she builds with students and families. She was drawn to La Casa’s mission-driven charter model and its strong dedication to the community—values she proudly supports through her work.
Outside of the classroom, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband, their three children, and their pets. She also loves being outdoors, exercising, and reading.
