Chief Administrative and Finance Officer

As Chief Administrative and Finance Officer at La Casa de Esperanza, Ailec González provides strategic leadership and oversight of Finance, Technology, and Human Resources. She ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and alignment with La Casa’s mission. Ailec plays a critical role in long-term planning, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, and supporting the growth and sustainability of the organization’s programs and services.

Since joining La Casa in 2003, Ailec has held several key leadership positions, bringing over 20years of experience in nonprofit financial and administrative management. Her deep institutional knowledge and collaborative leadership style have been instrumental in advancing the organization’s goals and expanding its community impact.

Ailec is personally committed to La Casa’s mission of empowering individuals and families through education, opportunity, and support. She draws inspiration from her own journey and is passionate about creating meaningful, lasting change in the community. Her work reflects abelief in the importance of equity, dignity, and shared progress.

She holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Matanzas (Cuba) and an MBA with a CPA emphasis from DeVry University. Ailec also serves on the boards of Landmark Credit Union and the AB Korkor Foundation. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends.
