Daniella Sanchez

Lead VITA Site Coordinator

Daniella Sanchez serves as the Lead VITA Site Coordinator at La Casa de Esperanza, where she oversees the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program in both Waukesha and Milwaukee. She manages volunteer recruitment, training, and daily operations to ensure the program runs efficiently each tax season, and she especially enjoys mentoring new volunteers and equipping them with the tools they need to serve clients effectively.

Daniella played a key role in launching the Milwaukee VITA site at YWCA Southeast Wisconsin, expanding access to free tax preparation services for more families in need, while the Waukesha site has supported the community for more than 20 years.

Her connection to La Casa began early in life, when she participated in programs ranging from daycare to after-school services—experiences she credits with shaping her both personally and professionally. In 2015, she joined La Casa’s Center for Financial Stability as an Administrative Assistant, and her passion for service quickly led her into a leadership role within the VITA program.

Dedicated to building stronger, more connected communities, Daniella also seeks partnerships with local organizations to enhance service delivery. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her two children, and volunteering with the Autism Society.
