Beronica Acosta joined La Casa de Esperanza Charter School in 2024, bringing over seven years of experience supporting students, families, and schools. She previously worked as a Teacher Assistant and in after-school and community programs at Notre Dame School of Milwaukee and with Marquette University’s Reading Programs. She has also volunteered as an ESL and catechism teacher through her parish.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Beronica is passionate about education, family engagement, and building strong connections within the community. Her life experiences—including growing up translating for her family and overcoming personal challenges—have shaped her deep commitment to helping others succeed. She is proud to be part of a bilingual school that values diversity and provides children and families with the tools to thrive.
Outside of school, Beronica is an active volunteer at her daughters’ schools and a devoted member of her church community. She enjoys participating in school events, supporting local initiatives, and using her story to inspire others. Her faith and resilience continue to guide her work and fuel her passion for making a difference every day.
