La Casa de Esperanza Affordable Loan Program – Powered by Peoples State Bank
La Casa de Esperanza’s Center for Financial Stability, in partnership with Peoples State Bank, offers a fair, affordable alternative to payday loans. Designed for individuals with limited access to traditional banking—including those flagged by ChexSystems—our program helps clients meet emergency financial needs without high-interest rates or excessive fees.
Eligible clients can borrow $1,000–$3,000 with:
A portion of each payment goes into a savings account with a premium interest rate, helping borrowers build emergency savings. All participants also receive financial counseling from HUD Certified Housing Counselors, empowering them to regain financial stability and take control of their finances.
