LEAP After-School Program<\/span><\/b><\/p>

At La Casa de Esperanza Charter School, we are committed to providing every child with the tools they need to succeed. Our\u00a0LEAP After-School Program<\/b>\u00a0offers additional academic support for selected students in the areas of\u00a0English Language Arts (ELA)<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0Mathematics<\/b>.<\/p>

What is LEAP?<\/b><\/p>

LEAP is a focused, small-group program designed to give students extra support and practice in reading, writing, and math. By working in smaller groups, teachers are able to provide personalized instruction that strengthens skills, builds confidence, and helps students make progress in key subject areas.<\/p>

Schedule<\/b><\/p>

  • Days:<\/b>\u00a0Monday through Thursday<\/li>
  • Time:<\/b>\u00a0After school until\u00a04:30 p.m.<\/b><\/li><\/ul>

    Students participating in LEAP are expected to stay for the full session each day. Consistent attendance is important to ensure that children receive the maximum benefit from the program.<\/p>

    Parent Commitment<\/b><\/p>

    Families play a vital role in the success of LEAP. Parents\/guardians are asked to:<\/p>

    • Commit to their child\u2019s attendance from dismissal until 4:30 p.m., Monday\u2013Thursday<\/li>
    • Arrange transportation at 4:30 p.m. each day<\/li>
    • Communicate with the school if their child is unable to attend due to illness or another unavoidable circumstance<\/li>
    • Encourage their child\u2019s effort and participation<\/li><\/ul>

      By participating in LEAP, students gain:<\/p>

      • Small group instruction and individualized attention<\/li>
      • Extra time to practice key skills in reading and math<\/li>
      • Opportunities to build confidence and improve academic performance<\/li><\/ul>
