Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA)

The VITA Program offers free tax help for low to moderate-income taxpayers who cannot prepare their own tax returns. It is a volunteer-based program. Volunteers are certified by IRS and receive free training (sponsored by various organizations) to prepare basic tax returns in communities across the country. VITA sites are generally located at community and neighborhood centers, libraries, schools and other convenient locations.

VITA Super Site

A "VITA Super Site" is a location similar to a "One Stop Shop". This means the location offers services other than just tax assistance.

VITA Super Site is now open for assistance and free preparation of prior year tax returns (by appointment only).
