Ligia “Lee” Wipfli, BS, SAC. – Manager of La Clinica

After an intensive career with international and domestic airlines located in Los Angeles and San Antonio., Lee transferred to Milwaukee in 1985 to work in the Mexicana Airlines’ regional office.  After operations relocated to Chicago, Lee accepted a position in administrative and compliance for Midwest Express Holdings in the certification of its airline pilots. 

Lee has been with La Casa de Esperanza, Inc. since November of 2000, serving in an administrative capacity.   For the last seven years, she has been the Manager of La Casa de Esperanza Clinic.  Lee is currently a License Substance Abuse Counselor with the State of Wisconsin.  In 2006 Lee completed the Latino Non-Profit Leadership Program, sponsored by UW-Milwaukee Roberto Hernandez Center in conjunction with Cardinal Stritch University Leadership Program.  Lee received her Bachelors of Science degree in 2009. In addition, Lee will graduate in December 2011 with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling with Springfield College in Milwaukee.  

Lee is also an active member of the community and is a strong advocate of giving back to the community through involvement with a variety of organizations such as: the Waukesha County AODA Advisory Committee; the Waukesha County Public Health Advisory Committee; Treasurer of the Hispanic Collaborative Network; Waukesha County Health Improvement Process Steering Committee.  Other memberships also include:  SCAODA, State Council on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Prevention Committee; WCTC Human Services Associate Degree Advisory Committee.
