Gary Gorlen – Director of Weatherization 

Gary began his career working with low income families over thirty years ago.  His first job was with the Youth Employment Program at Central Wisconsin Community Action in Wisconsin Dells.  In 1980, while still with Central CAP, he was placed in charge of the Low Income Weatherization Program as part of his duties as the agency’s Deputy Executive Director

In 1984 Gary started with the State Wisconsin as a Budget and Management Analyst for the Low Income Weatherization Program.  In 1990, he was made State Director for the program.  Gary had a few other positions with the State including the Administrator for the Division of Administrative Services at the Department of Regulation and Licensing.  He completed his State service in 2010 and return to his previous work with the Low-Income Weatherization program with La Casa de Esperanza.
