Family Self-Sufficiency
The goal of the Family Self Sufficiency Program is to enable 150 families with minor children residing in the home to become economically and socially independent through the coordination and delivery of high-quality coordinated educational, economic and supportive services. This program will effectively assist women to become self-sufficient and to foster their resources to achieve and maintain goals, which will enable them to break the cycle of poverty. Coordinated services are provided to families in the FSS Program through intensive case management and dedicated case managers. When an FSS family works with a La Casa case manager they also have immediate and easy access to all of La Casa's existing high-quality programs in one central location. Eligibility for this program is determined by the Waukesha Housing Authorities.
