Fiesta Waukesha
Friday, June 20 - Sunday, June 22, 2008
In keeping with our mission to promote multicultural awareness, La Casa has sponsored Fiesta Waukesha for the past 25 years. This festival, which originally began as a one-day block party in front of the agency, has now grown into a three-day music and culture festival held in beautiful Frame Park on the banks of the Fox River in Waukesha.
In 2007, the festival drew over 20,000 festival goers from all over the Wisconsin area.
This yearly fundraising event is free to the public and will once again offer a wide variety of Hispanic entertainment, Latin American cuisine, amusement rides, children's area, youth tent, raffle, arts/crafts marketplace and informational areas.
La Casa would like to extend a big thank you to our generous sponsors of our 2007 Fiesta Waukesha.
La Casa would also like to thank the very talented musicians, dancers, and performers; nearly 300 volunteers; unique vendors; the City of Waukesha Park and Recreation Department; and the City of Waukesha Police Department who all contributed to Fiesta Waukesha's success. In 2007, Fiesta Waukesha raised over $100,000 to support La Casa's Children, Family & Youth Program.
