Dave Geisthardt - Field Operations Manager

As La Casa de Esperanza’s Field Operations Manager for weatherization, Dave is responsible for the production work flow, particularly with jobs performed by La Casa’s weatherization crews..

Prior to joining La Casa, for ten years he managed residential and small commercial energy conservation programs with the former Wisconsin Electric, now WE Energies.  

Dave gained extensive experience with non-profit organizations while at Wisconsin Electric, partnering with local neighborhood based low-income housing agencies to perform energy conservation work.  He has also served in voluntary capacities on Boards of Directors of a number of non-profit housing and community development organizations in southeastern Wisconsin.  He also led economic development efforts in Wauwatosa for seven years, working with locally owned small businesses as well as with nationally and internationally recognized companies.   

In addition to his non-profit and utility career, Dave has worked in local and county government, running housing rehabilitation programs.  There he was responsible for marketing and outreach, performing inspections, preparing work specifications and bid documents and managing contracts on behalf of low income homeowners.
